Artience Workshop

Sketch a move/ Move a sketch workshop was held at Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute located in Daejeon, Korea, from June 25th to 27th in 2015, funded as one of the Artience Project.

Eight participants in their 10’s to 50’s took part in the three-day and three-hour long workshop while there were more people who paid a short visit. After the backgrounds and minimum knowledge of linkage mechanism were introduced, participants were encouraged to design their own movements for the rest of time. It went along with different tasks for each day: The first day was for making and connecting more than two different basic mechanisms; Second day, designing one’s own storyboard; Last day, making a drawing tool or a drawbot.

Workshop slides: Day 1, Day 2, Day 3
