Two stools in pair with the theme of roots, branches , a trunk and a treetop as an inspiration to design, one with and the other without the fine finishing such as sanding and gluing. Inspired by the mathematical geometric symmetry of nature, my idea was to make the cross section interesting to remind users of that of tree trunk. It was exhibited in Museum of Finnish Architecture as a part of exhibition, ‘Annual Rings 1994–2014. 두 개의 수학적 스툴

자작나무 합판, 버드나무 가지 및 껍질, 2014

나무 단면의 기하학적이고 수학적인 문양에 착안하여 디자인된 두개의 스툴이다. 하나는 전동 목공 기계를 사용하고, 다른 하나는 전통적인 기법으로 일체의 접착제나 샌딩 없이 제작 되었다. 이는 핀란드 건축 박물관에서 열린 ‘Annual Rings 1994–2014. A New Generation of Wood Architecture’ 에서 2014년 10월 8일부터 25일까지 전시 되었다.
